Fake It 'Til You Make It, Right?

July 17, 2012

I was interviewed to volunteer at the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week so I decided to do a fashion blogger inspired post, even though I hate looking at photos of myself. I volunteered for the Spring Fashion Week last year and absolutely loved it and make some new friends along the way.

Last year it was mostly promo work which was a tad boring, and I had one shift dressing models backstage. I'm hoping this year that I get to do front of house/ushering so I can see all the shows for free.

My plan for this dress is to wear it in all the cities written on it; London, Paris, Milan and New York. I've already been to London but I didn't own this dress at the time, so I guess I'll have to go back (tough life).

Jacket - Terminal D (Korean Brand) bought at the Camden Markets in London
Dress - Incyda "Conquer The World" dress bought from Elwood 101
Leggings - Valleygirl
Shoes - K Mart (fancy, I know)
Bag - Nica bought in Norwich, UK
Jewellery - House Of Harlow ring, Carly Paiker for Sportsgirl ring, stacking rings from Korea (a present), my signet ring and a gold heart padlock bracelet I was given when I was born.

I feel a bit weird posting this because I'm not by any definition a fashion blogger, but I like fashion and it relates to my event work so I thought I may as well. Hope you enjoy it.
