I recently went to Adelaide (or Radelaide as I call it) and even though I had to work most of the time I was there, I did manage to sneak away one night to have dinner with a friend from Melbourne who's currently living in the South Australian capital.
Both of us are Radelaide newbies and we didn't really know where we should go for dinner, so I jumped on the interwebs to see what's good. Jamie's Italian leapt out at me as I've seen a few vloggers dine there in other cities around the world.
When looking at the menu, there was no way that I could go past the Potato & Truffle Tortellini, and I'm glad I didn't because I loved it. It was the perfect serving size too. It seemed small but I was really full by the end. My friend ordered Sausage Pappardelle. We were both very happy with our choices.
For dessert we ordered Lemon Meringue Cheesecake and Blackberry Pavlova. I could've eaten about 10 it was so good! Can't go wrong with the classics.
Overall I loved Jamie's Italian. It's a great place if, like me, you're not good at being adventurous with food but want something a bit different from your usual Italian restaurant. The service was great too. Our waiter spoke to us like we were long lost friends and made us feel very welcome.
