Kennedy Space Centre & St Augustine

September 30, 2015

As we headed up north on our way to St Augustine we stopped into the home of NASA itself, the Kennedy Space Centre.
It was pretty incredible to see the actual space shuttle that landed on the moon and the conditions that the astronauts had to endure whilst in space. We also got to see two launch pads, one of which had a rocket on it ready to launch.
From there, we headed to our overnight stop St Augustine. St Augustine is the oldest city in the USA and was absolutely adorable. We had dinner at a local steak house and bar, then once night fell, we went on a pretty hilarious ghost tour of the town.
I really wish we got more time in St Augustine. A few hours really wasn't enough. It's one to go back to at some point.
