Boston & Harvard University

November 1, 2015

Our stay in Boston started with a guided walking tour of Harvard University. Most of the U.S.A made you feel like you were in a movie or TV show, but being at Harvard University really felt like you'd jumped straight into a college movie.
We had lunch by the water and then jumped on a hop on/hop off trolley tour of Boston. The city was so clean compared to New York City and a lot less rushed. We passed beautiful buildings and perfectly manicured parks as well as the site where the Declaration Of Independence was signed.
I'd done a bit of Googling and found this breathtaking gallery that I knew I had to make time for. The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum was really special because it was all hand picked by it's namesake, so you were given a bit of an insight into what she would've been like in the 1800s.
That night we all went out for dinner and bonded with the newbies that had joined the tour. We wandered around the city and had an earlyish night ready for Canada the next day.
